ROASTED CHICKEN
Kenny Rogers Roasters Copycat Recipe

4 lbs. chicken drumsticks
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
3/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon thyme

Combine the salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, thyme, white and black pepper, and garlic powder.Mix well. Rub the chicken drumsticks with the combined spices. Place the chicken drumsticks in a resealable bag. Refrigerate for 12 hours. Remove the chicken from the bag.

Arrange in a baking pan with a wire rack. Preheat oven to 245 degrees. Roast the chicken for 4 hours 30 minutes.

Note: Baste with the drippings after an hour. Do this every 40 mins.
