Church's Introduces Smokehouse Half Chicken

This summer, Church’s Chicken is taking a stripped down approach with the launch of its new Smokehouse Half Chicken. The popular international chicken brand is taking a bold departure from its signature method of preparation, by focusing on the bare chicken essentials – Serving a smoky, seasoned half chicken with zero batter or breading.

“Naked” Smokehouse Half Chicken will be available at participating Church’s restaurants beginning June 27th and continuing through July 31st, 2016 while supplies last.  A generous half-chicken portion is served with a signature Honey Butter Biscuit, starting at just $3.99, allowing  for a full experience with the savory, smoky flavor profile – juicy white breast meat plus rich, tender dark meat,  all with a hint of hickory smoke and delicious spice rub applied directly to the skin.

  • Fiery Jalapeño Crunch Chicken, jalapeño-marinated, breaded and fried bone-in chicken, $2.99 for two pieces, with a honey butter biscuit.

This new menu item isn't the first time Church's Chicken has introduced a new take on spicy. One of the first side items ever offered at the restaurants was jalapeno peppers, first introduced in the 1950s, and still served today to the tune of 40 million annually. There is also the brand's always popular Purple Pepper Sauce, a limited release dipping sauce made from red bell peppers and Habanero peppers, which last appeared on Church's menus in April of 2015.

Just in time for Fall and back to school activities, Church’s Chicken is making the comforting home style taste of their signature hand battered fried chicken and scratch made honey butter biscuits available in a fun, convenient new size. 

New Chicken & Biscuit Bites are a perfectly portable, dippable and poppable version of the original: Church’s all white meat Tender Cruncher and Biscuit Bites, which come with a honey dipping sauce. 

Church’s Chicken & Biscuit Bites will be available nationwide, at participating restaurants, from August 31, 2015 through September 27, 2015, while supplies last. 

National Chicken & Biscuit Month takes place the entire month of September.

Southern Blackberry Cobbler Makes Its Return to Cowboy 

Cowboy Chicken, the popular eleven unit Dallas based fast casual wood fire rotisserie chicken brand, is happy to announce that its fall favorite, Southern Blackberry Cobbler is back for another season!

Over thirty years ago the popular chicken brand’s now famous Homemade Peach Cobbler was first introduced to their menu. Due to the popularity of this famous homemade dessert, Cowboy Chicken has introduced two seasonal cobblers to the dessert line up. During the summer months, guest can enjoy the savory, sweet taste of the Homemade Apple Cobbler, and in the fall their tangy Southern Blackberry Cobbler. All three cobblers are crafted from their old-time cobbler recipe and made from scratch daily.

Blackberries ripen from mid-summer to early fall, and go from green to red to dark blue or black in color and, have one of the highest antioxidant levels of fruits regularly tested. Blackberries are also rich in Vitamin C and fiber, which have been shown to help reduce the risks of certain cancers. Cowboy Chicken will be serving their Southern Blackberry Cobbler through the winter months and invites folks to cuddle up next to the wood-fire and enjoy this tangy, sweet treat! Guests can also top off the Southern Blackberry Cobbler, or any of their cobblers, with a scoop of Blue-Bell’s Homemade Vanilla Ice-cream, making it the perfect “southern” experience!
